Meet the Addams Family! They’re creepy and they’re kooky, and they’re coming to life (and death) in this delightfully dark Tony-nominated musical.
Based on the iconic comedy created by Charles Addams, the story follows the Addams Family who reside in their gloomy Central Park mansion. Gomez, the proud patriarch and his elegant wife Morticia share a passionate marriage. Their mischievous son Pugsley is rummaging through Granda’s Potions and is busy being tortured by his big sister, Wednesday. Fester is spending his time moon bathing and the ever-loyal Lurch lurks in the shadows with his usual silent charm.
But their usual family darkness, grief and unspeakable sorry is tested by a secret… the twisted, eldest daughter Wednesday is in love and is bringing home a boy, a ‘normal’ boy.
Can the eccentric Addams family traditions withstand their straight-laced guests? Can love survive the night? Can normalcy and darkness find common ground?
